Why does Flying Fish focus on Cylinder-Heated (Roller) Ironers instead of Chest-Heated Ironers?

Flying Fish specializes in cylinder-heated (roller) flatwork ironers (single to 4-roller configurations, Ø800mm, up to 3300mm width) because they offer maximum thermal efficiency and workflow flexibility. Linens extracted from high-speed washers (with ~45-50% moisture retention) can be fed directly into cylinder ironers without pre-drying. This eliminates extra drying machines, reduces thermal energy loss, lowers equipment investment, and provides reliable, continuous ironing capacity for 95% of hotel and hospital operations.

What are the core technical advantages of Flying Fish XGQ/SXT Washer Extractors?

Flying Fish washer extractors feature all-SUS304 stainless steel construction (inner drum, outer tub, and structural panels), high G-force extraction for reduced drying times, multi-point heavy-duty pneumatic/spring suspension to absorb over 95% of vibrations, multi-lingual touch-screen PLC controllers with 30 customizable programs, and optional pneumatic forward/backward tilting (SXT series) for effortless automatic linen unloading.

Does Flying Fish provide complete turnkey central laundry plant solutions?

Yes. Beyond standalone machines, Flying Fish delivers integrated turnkey laundry plant solutions. This includes 2D/3D plant layout engineering, CPS (Cyber-Physical System) smart laundry management for real-time process monitoring, automated bag-drop and belt conveyor logistics, steam and thermal energy recovery systems, and complete automated washing, drying, flatwork ironing, and towel folding lines.

How does the GL Series Barrier Washer ensure infection control in healthcare laundries?

The GL Series barrier washer is installed directly into a dividing wall separating the soiled sorting area and the clean packing room. With dual interlocked doors (loading on the soiled side, unloading on the clean side), positive air pressure separation, and automated high-temperature thermal disinfection cycles, it completely prevents airborne and contact cross-infection according to international healthcare hygiene standards.
